Smartinfo can supply and configure a Cisco phone system for you small business. Based on the Broadsoft r17 platform, customers can manage their extension online and upload auto attendant and music on hold online.

Smartinfo moved an office block containing 4 separate companies from Upper Grosvenor Street, Mayfair W1 next to teh American Embassy, to just the other side of Hyde Park Corner, near the Irish Embassy, Although only a mile in Distance the two streets were served buy two different BT Exchanges, this caused a number of problems for all 3 of the businesses.

Smartinfo moved a rapidly expanding solicitor from Gants Hill, Ilford to Highams Park, Chigwell.
Previously the firm had started in Walthamstow, and as the progress and success of the firm had grown on word of mouth and recommendation, for this reason the firms partners were keen to retain all their different geographic numbers, as many friends and family pass contact numbers.

Smartinfo installed a c100 extension phone system for a North London Based Higher Education Establishment.
The college, typical of its type, funded in 1943, has a number of different buildings on the campus, all of different ages, with different cable infrastructures (cat 5 was not the standard!), the buildings in this campus are also under different landlords with a public highway running in-between.
When we analysed the BT bills and then extensively and painstakingly surveyed, we found separate PSTN (normal analogue lines) in each staff members office (at least 40), plus 2 ISDN 30s, 3 phone systems, 4 different circuits of ISDN2, plus feature lines and Meter pulse lines etc etc…In short a mess, costing the college £5-6k per Quarter.
A new system was installed in the main campus building, retaining the main ISDN30, the other 2 system were dis-regarded and the single analogue lines replaced with IP phones in the rest of the campus. Adsl links were beefed up and data was backed off to a 100meg link, with some buildings connected with wireless links (as a cheaper alternative to digging the road and fibre links).
Single analogue line numbers were retained by porting them over to SIP Trunks, and routing them through to IP phone extensions as DDIs.
An auto attendant was set up with departments administrators as options, this was not possible with outlying staff on separate analogue lines.
So the benefits were: -
1. Reduced cost, saving 1000′s per quarter on BT line savings.
2. Removed maintenance cost, by removing 2 non-required systems
3. Increased functionality, moving from basic POTs (basic – Plain Old Telephones) phones to System phones, gaining voicemail, extension keys, ability to hold and of course transfer to any other staff member, department or back to reception.
The cost reductions paid for the system on a monthly basis, with cash to spare.
Other important elements to the project were, re-cabling, upgrading ASDL connections, VPN’ing, corporate mobiles and email, and creating proper security with firewalls (Drayteks) and of course staff training and ongoing support. Initially support was intensive, 90% due to poor cabling infrastructure. More cat 5 re-cabling was planned and implemented.

Smartinfo recently quoted for a very sophisticated and complex telephone system for a rich Italian for his London house. The handsets quoted have large coloured screens and programmed to pick up the images from the CCTV system and sound from the security system cameras.
All the bedrooms and bathrooms are o have cameras installed and voice sensitive recording devices attached to each camera. The complete systems were priced at £50k. He said he wanted to fund it by a lease but the banks refused because they said they did not want to add to the Italian debt crisis. Negotiations on payment methods continue as he desperately wants us to fulfil our proposal and install the telephone system and security system before Christmas…
