Our customer in Croydon has an office staffed with 20 staff to handle incoming call traffic. The traffic is generated from his clients non geographic numbers and is a call centre for number of companies.
This customer felt that it was possible for him to expand the business but he required a better way to manage the call traffic. We made our recommendations for a new phone system with specific call distribution application that was designed for managing the type of traffic his company handles.
Once the phone system was installed and everything was running smoothly we visited the customer to make certain he was getting exactly what he wanted.

We visited this prospect in Clapham , a busy firm of solicitors, and review the present telecommunications setup and make recommendations to improve it. The office was a mess with no structured cabling and it was obvious that as the firm grew there was no cohesive plan as the services were extended. We suggested structured cabling and the use of POE switches to run both phones for office and their computer network. The planned changes would enable them to get rid of the numerous gang extension kits that were all around the offices. We also advised the provision of extra sockets to allow for future further expansion which was planned.
After the job was complete the customer said he was very satisfied he had found us and that he was very pleased with the end product.

Over the weekend there was substantial newspaper coverage of the results on the two Manchester teams trying to win the Premier League. The general consensus was that the main difference between the teams was spirit of the respective clubs. This is an over simplification of the reality.
One of the clubs Manchester United realised a long time ago that long term planning, excellence of team management, stability in club management and high goals and standard expected from everyone and a clear vision as to how to adopt the change.
Manchester City have not ticked all the boxes yet. Given time they probably will. The owners of the club, as did the Chelsea owner appear to started their adventure into Football club ownership thinking that money could buy success. It can contribute enormously but the other ingredients are just as important in achieving long term and continued success.
