Often as a company operating in the field of ‘technology’ we are guilty of espousing the weird and wonderfully tricks of out trade, and indeed Smartinfo has become synonymous with pushing the boundaries of bleeding edge technology.
However on a daily basis much of the work we do is more mundane – and just helping normal small businesses do normal things with their telephony and communications.
One such simple example is the Tower Hamlets Parents association, on brick lane, London (E1).
As a charity they just don’t have the cash of a foreign national banking neighbours a mile away in the city, they need to control costs, but also stay abreast of comms solutions for business, above all they need advice they can trust.
Smartinfo have always had a generous view towards charities, we try to provide as much free consultancy, especially to charities we feel have been let down by large nationwide providers just looking to bill them and not interested in their needs to to the their low revenue generation potent entail. Not to sound too pious, but we feel this attitude had paid us back morally and commercially too.
For the tower hamlets association we were able to help on a number of simple fronts:-
Cabling
Broadband
Rationalising telephone lines
Fax machines

South London Networking Group puts Telecoms Provider Smartinfo at Heart of business community”
Smartinfo Ltd, a City of London based leading supplier of Alcatel, Mitel and Samsung telephone systems along with electronic surveillance and mobile phone solutions are the preferred provider for
the Wandsworth based Networking Group to supply the telephone system requirements of Wandsworth SME community.
As The Wandsworth Telephone Exchange is now enabled for FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet) the Networking Group are putting their contacts in touch with Tim Orchard – Smartinfo’s local representative.
FTTC brings blisteringly fast broadband to businesses at a fraction of the price they would have paid previously for a similar service. In turn this makes VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol – Internet Telephony) a cost effective alternative to expensive ISDN (Digital) phone lines.
