Our customer decided he wanted to expand his business and he decided to acquire an office. He had access to the premises prior the completion of signing the lease and we were invited to do a survey and advise him on how best to set up his telecommunications. As part of his business model, his business is a specialist design firm, he works closely with a group of independent contractors with different skill sets. When he obtains a large contract he builds his team from these associates selecting each team member for his specialist skills most suited to the work. He did not want to take enough office space to facilitate his group of associates because of the costs involved. He also wanted to take his existing established number with him to the new office which was outside the exchange area when he was working.
Our solution was to provide him with a phone system that was VOIP enabled and provide him with SIP trunks for his telephone traffic. This way we were able to port his number form his existing provider to the new location so no loss of calls was suffered. For the remote associates IP handsets were supplied which effectively makes each user and extension of the system as if they were in the office.
Our customer is delighted with the new communications system and the flexibility it provides him in running his business.
