The Chancellor has delivered his budget today and it is unimpressive.

When you consider that the government has committed £35 billion for about 100 miles of high speed railway it is hard to see the sanity of that decision when you examine the piffling small changes in the budget in its so called giveway  section. How can so much money be committed to a project that has dubious value to community was a whole.   The political classes seem to be dissociated  from  reality. Do they ever ask themselves “If it was my money would I spend it on this project”

As an SME every time a decision has to be made about investing our money we must be able to justify the return on investment because we have very little margin for errors. This attitude also applies when we make a decision to employ people where again we have little margin for making recruitment errors. We market, install and  maintain phone systems. We also help our customers to make a similar assessment of the products we sell them. We are always able to demonstrate a very good return on investment on the phone systems we sell.

Telephone phone Camden Town London

The Chancellor has delivered his budget today and it will not set the world alight.

“Government plans to withdraw child benefit from parents who earn higher levels of income have been altered.

Chancellor George Osborne said that the benefit would only be withdrawn entirely from those where one partner earns more than £60,000 a year.

The benefit will be withdrawn gradually from those where one parent earns more than £50,000.” The was reported on the BBC comments on the budget

We endorse this move because the proposed change was so illogical it would have been unfair to proceed with it. We are not certain that universal benefits are a good thing and believe that a more focused application of those resources might achieve better results.

As a small firm we have difficulty in finding people to fill various roles for our business. We market, install and  maintain phone systems. It is a highly competitive business and anyone who owns a business will know that there is no room for passengers in our type of environment.   If there were incentives for us to train these people everyone becomes a winner including the  country.

Office telephone Islington London

Rating: 5 out of 5 based on 71 ratings

The Chancellor has delivered his budget today and it does not look very radical or inventive.

The cigarettes have gone up again  but thankfully the booze has been left alone. If you want to buy a property over £2m  the stamp duty will be 7% or if it is purchased through a company (irrespective of where it is based) it will be a swinging 15%

When we advise any business on changing their office telephones we adopt a holistic approach.

We analyse  all the telecoms services currently being used by the business and apply our model to reduce as much cost a possible. Unlike the government “giveaways”  our measures have an instant  impact on the users so the cost reductions are available immediately.

Business Phone for Office

Rating: 5 out of 5 based on 71 ratings

Often start up companies are confused what a business phone, office phone or phone system is – and what the justification for investing in one is.

The easiest analogy is this – a non system phone is a ‘dumb terminal’ (as at your home) offering little functionality or efficiency.

A system phone has programmable features customised for your business, such as keys to short dial colleagues, transfer to mobiles or record calls.

A system, or group of system phones also allow a more efficient use of few lines to the number of staff eg 5 staff with office phones can share just 3 lines.
