A network cluster at ‘Gamma’ has an outage affecting certain customers with SIP trunks outbound calls.

More an more customers are enquiring about what is under the umbrella of data services, so we have updated our website to include more information on these services. Cloud computing (such as Google apps or Dropbox are just 2 small examples)
All businesses are using the internet more to conduct there businesses. This has created a need for bulkier internet connectivity and for customers who have multiple sites or home workers.
Upgrades available to customers include, upgrading to the next form of connection eg from ADSL to FTTC, and from FTTC to EFM and from EFM to Leased line.
Some customers have been unaware of services such as MPLS – where traditional VPNs can be replaced with a network level private and secure network – mixing a range of our connectivity products depending on the site size, from ADSL for home workers to EFM for satellites upto leased line circuits for the HQ site – all sharing data securely and simply with qos-ing.
We also provide co-location and storage for private cloud infrastructures, or indeed at its simplest level for straight forward back up.

Tim Orchard of Smartinfo has checked the phone bills of 10 companies and found at least one anomaly on each bill.
Companies are being charged for services that they do not use and that are not necessary.
Companies that subsequently signed up for Line Rental from Smartinfo substantially reduced their fixed Telecom charges.

BT are currently experiencing a loss of 21CN services across multiple BRAS locations.
NB. TTB DSL connections may also be impacted if serviced by this BRAS.
Currently – BT have informed us the below areas codes are impacted however we have received a number of calls that relate to other numbers that are also being attributed to this incident when investigated on BT’s diagnostic systems:-
01905, 0121, 01452, 01564, 01684, 01242, 01865, 01789, 0129, 01827, 01527, 01432, 01543, 01926, 01600, 01386, 01676, 01386, 01384, 01885, 01453, 0162275, 0127373
As a result of this incident, we are experiencing a high volume of calls. BT’s systems are also suffering reliability problems due to the volume of diagnostic checks.
BT have also announced emergency maintenance work as part of this major incident that will take place tomorrow morning (4th December) between 2am – 6am. This will be announced shortly.

End customers are advised to leave their equipment and setup while the 3rd party incident is on-going.
